The Green Room 42 will present Christina DeCicco (Evita, Wicked) and Denis Lambert (A Chorus Line, Doctor Zhivago) in WE DO not BELONG TOGETHER and other Broadway stories... on Friday June 2 at 8pm.
The pair bonded and became lifelong friends last summer playing Mary Poppins and Bert at Lexington Theatre Company.
In their first New York appearance together, they will present an evening of Broadway's favorite duets. From Kiss Me, Kate to Parade to Sunday in the Park with George, they will tell the stories of some of Broadway's most memorable couples, proving that they really do belong together.
Direction is by Jen Waldman with Musical Direction is by Drew Wutke.
The concert will take place on June 2 at 8:00pm at The Green Room 42 at 570 Avenue, 4th Floor inside Yotel, New York, NY 10036. Tickets are $25 with no minimum. Tickets are available at www.thegreenroom42.com.

Asolo Repertory Theatre continues its 2016-17 season and the fifth and final year of its American Character Project with Academy Award-winner Garson Kanin's irresistible girl-meets-world comedy BORN YESTERDAY.
Bombshell Billie Dawn has always gotten by on looks alone. But when she moves to Washington, D.C. with her corrupt boyfriend, junkyard magnate Harry Brock, he needs Billie to be more than just a pretty face. To help her fit in with the capital's upper echelon, Harry hires Paul Verrall, a young reporter, to educate Billie, but Paul ends up learning quite a bit from her in this classic comedy that reminds us all not to judge a book by its cover.
"BORN YESTERDAY is a tremendously witty, timely and clever play, but, above all, it is overflowing with joy," said Producing Artistic Director Michael DonaldEdwards. Starry Cast Tapped for North American Premiere of THE WAR OF THE ROSES

Delaware Theatre Company, the only theatre in the State of Delaware developing new works for Broadway, has announced the casting for its season opener THE WAR OF THE ROSES by Warren Adler, directed by Bud Martin.
THE WAR OF THE ROSES will begin previews on September 14th, 2016. Opening night is set for Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 8pm.
The dark comedy follows married couple Barbara and Jonathan Rose, who go from suburban bliss to a deadly territorial battle. The breakup of their marriage leads to the ugliest divorce imaginable, revealing chaos in unpredictable ways. The War of the Roses was originally published in 1981. The novel was adapted into a film in 1989, starring Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner.
The four leads are, Christina DeCicco (Barbara Rose), Cameron Folmar (Thurmont), Jack Noseworthy (Jonathan Rose), and Lenny Wolpe (Goldstein).

The Lexington Theatre Company will present its second season production Disney & Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins. Set to play at The Lexington Opera House July 14-17, Mary Poppins is presented by Variety Live at the Opera House, with Co-Producing Sponsor, KentuckyOne Health.
Christina DeCicco (Evita, Wicked) will play the magical, firm-yet-kind nanny, Mary Poppins. Denis Lambert (Doctor Zhivago, A Chorus Line) is set to play the lovable chimney sweep and jack-of-all-trades, Bert. Winifred Banks will be played by Jennifer Hope Wills (The Phantom of the Opera, Wonderful Town). And playing head-of-household, George Banks, will be Ron Bohmer (The Book of Mormon, Ragtime).
LEX Artistic Director, Lyndy Franklin Smith (A Chorus Line, The Little Mermaid), and Producing Director, Jeromy Smith (42nd Street, Swing), direct. Matthew Bourne and Stephen Mear's Tony-Nominated choreography is recreated and adapted by Brian Collier (Mary Poppins, Beauty & the Beast). Michael T Sebastian (Cincinnati Playhouse, Flat Rock Playhouse) serves as Music Director.

The musical tells the story of the pharaoh AKHENATEN and of his wife NEFERTITI. It centers on how AKHENATEN challenged the almighty power of the priests of Ancient Egypt by imposing a single god over their many gods, creating the first monotheist religion ever. However, this historical move will unleash an epic struggle for power to restore the old gods and to replace AKHENATEN with his son TUTANKHAMUN as the leader of Egypt.

Evita's Christina DeCicco Will Head Cast of Limited NYC Run of Little Fish
Complete casting has been announced for a new production of Michael John LaChiusa’s 2003 Off-Broadway musical Little Fish, which will begin a limited engagement Sept. 24 at The June Havoc Theatre.
Jen Waldman, newly appointed artistic director of The Hangar Theatre, will direct the piece, with music direction by Jasper Grant. Performances will continue through Sept. 27.
The cast will be led by Christina DeCicco with Alli Foss, Michael Di Liberto, Ashley Campana, Will Erat, Ashley Klanac, John D. Haggerty, Gil Perez-Abraham and Jeanne Tinker.
The musical, according to press notes, is described as such: "'I never really knew what I was like until I quit smoking, by which time, there was hell to pay.' So observes Charlotte, a young writer of short stories as she confronts her past, present and future in a post-9/11 Manhattan. With the help of her well-intentioned friends, she embarks on a modern-day odyssey as she desperately attempts to fill her nicotine-starved days. Written by Michael John Lachiusa, this urban story is a valentine to community, reminding us that sometimes like little fish, it’s safer to swim in schools."

Matthew Hydzik and Christina DeCicco Lead Cast of Benjamin Button Readings
The York Theatre Company will present staged readings of Benjamin Button, a new musical based on the short story authored by F. Scott Fitzgerald, Aug. 25-26 at 2 PM.
Featuring music by Natalie Tenenbaum and book and lyrics by Brett Boles, the readings will be directed by Stephen Nachamie.
Benjamin Button will feature Matthew Hydzik (West Side Story) as Past Benjamin, Christina DeCicco (Evita, Spider-Man Turn off the Dark, The Marvelous Wonderettes) as Claire, Talon Ackerman (Bonnie and Clyde) as Contemporary Benjamin and Cole Burden as James.
Benjamin Button, according to the York, "is the story of a man who ages backwards. Set in Atlanta, GA and New York from 1925 through the early 2000s, the piece explores Benjamin’s entire life, but focuses mainly on the relationships Benjamin has with his father, his wife, and his son. Benjamin Button stresses the importance of family and urges all of us to cherish the moments we have – whether we're living backwards or forwards."
Rounding out the cast are Preston Truman Boyd, Mark DiConzo, Karen Elliott, Sean Alan Krill, Bruce Landry, James LaRosa, Christiana Little, Elana Justin, Kay Trinidad and Christopher Ware.
Tenenbaum (composer) is the recipient of the 2012 BMI Harrington Award and the 2013 Jean Banks Award. Boles (book writer/lyricist) wrote the book, music and lyrics to Foreverman, which premiered at NYMF and received the New World Stages Development Award.

Sweet Dreams is a modern day retelling of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream told through the unforgettable music of Air Supply and narrated by their singer-songwriter and guitarist, Graham Russell. Set in modern day New York City, the show features sixteen of Air Supply’s greatest hits as well as several brand new songs written by Graham Russell.
